Chromalox self-regulating freeze protection cable is ideal for warming metal and plastic pipes in commercial construction, institutional buildings, and some industrial freeze protection applications. Its self regulating polymer core varies output along its entire length, saving energy and eliminating hotspots along pipes. It can be cut to length in the field and single-overlapped without overheating the cable. Cable can be used in non-hazardous areas only.

	Heating Cable – Pipe Freeze Protection Chromalox Thermwire-Wrap can be applied to anywhere pipes are subjected to below-freezing temperatures. It can be used on plastic or metal water, wastewater or HVAC pipes up to 8 inches in diameter. The Pre-assembled Thermwire-Wrap has an attached cord and plug for simple and quick installation. It can be used on pipes up to 2.5 inches in diameter, including outdoor spigots, and is ready for use up to 50 feet in length.
	Heating Cable – Roof & Gutter De-Icing Thermwire-Melt prevents costly structural damage to roofs, gutters and downspouts caused by ice and snow. Apply anywhere melting snow and ice can penetrate roof surface and re-freeze, lifting shingles, pulling gutters away, and breaking gutters and downspouts. Heat output is up to 12 Watts/ft. in snow, water and ice. It’s rugged construction assures reliable operation.
	Heating Cable – Compressor Pre-heating – Residential Thermwire-Comp heaters are used to prevent migration of refigerant into crankhouse oil when compressors are operated in cold temperatures. Use of these heaters can prevent excessive wear and loss of refrigerant efficiency. It features rugged factory sealed water tight connections, and comes in 120 volt and 208-277 volt models. The self regulating heater can be closely coiled or single overlapped without burnout.
	Heat Trace – Connection Kits and Accessories Installation kits and accessories include all of the necessary components for straight or tee splices, power connection boxes, and water-resistant endseal terminations for heat trace installation. Installation tape, pipe straps, and caution labels are available from our Econo or Duro line accessories.
