Chromalox self-regulating heating cable provides safe, reliable heat tracing to eliminate ice build-ups in drain lines. Constructed of industrial grade quality material, this ensures years of reliability. These products are energy efficient and easy to install.

	Heating Cable – Compressor Pre-Heating – Refrigeration Thermwire-comp heaters are used to prevent migration of refrigerant into crankcase oil when compressors are operated in cold temperatures. Use of these heaters can prevent excessive wear and loss of refrigerant efficiency. Thermwire-comp heaters are factory terminated and sealed with power connection, end seal and integral zip tie fastener for even and secure heat transfer around the compressor belly. Heaters fit compressors to 48 inch diameter and are available in 120 volt and 208-277 volt models. Heaters are able to withstand maximum compressor surface temps of 150° F.
	Heating Cable – Drain Line Freeze Protection Chromalox provides a number of drain line freeze protection options from our low temperature Thermwire wrap cable and accessories to our innovative small profile high watt density SRR cable line and accessories. Thermwire wrap is available in 3 and 6 watt per foot models at both 120 volts and 208-277 volts. SRR cables are available in watt densities to 20 watts per foot at both 120 and 208-277 volts. Both models are energy efficient, rugged in construction, and provide all the benefits of self-regulating cable technology. The Thermwire product line is ideal for standard drain line applications both internal and external to the pipe. The SRR product line is ideally suited for small diameter piping 1/8″ to 1″ and is also the ideal choice for higher watt density applications.
	Heating Cable – Gasket and Door Heating Chromalox provides a number of gasket and door heating cable products to help prevent icing of freezer enclosures and to increase gasket sealing life. Thermwire-wrap, small profile low temperature Safety Wrap and our innovative, small profile, high watt density SRR cables can be used in these applications. These self-regulating cables are available in watt densities from 3 watts to 20 watts per foot and voltages from 12 volts to 277 volts. All models are energy efficient, rugged in construction, and provide all the benefits of self-regulating cable technology. Thermwire product line is ideal for low wattage large cross section applications. STW product line is ideal for low wattage small cross section applications while the SRR product family is the ideal choice for high watt density small cross section applications.
	Heating Cable – Freeze Prevention For Fire Protection System Piping Chromalox provides cables, accessories, and controls specifically UL listed for fire protection system piping. Products meet requirements of NFPA 70 standard. SRL and SRF family self regulating cables are ideally suited for low temperature freeze protection applications. SRM/E product family cables are ideally suited for higher watt density applications. Cables are available in watt densities from 3 watts per foot to 20 watts per foot at 120 and 208-277 volts. Chromalox carries a complete line of heat tracing controls and sensors from single point on/off control to multi point distributed systems. Controls are designed to simplify and economize system operation.
	Heating Cable – Connection Kits and Accessories Installation kits and accessories include all of the necessary components for straight or tee splices, power connection boxes, and water-resistant end seal terminations for heat trace installation. Installation tape, pipe straps, and caution labels are available from our Econo or Duro line accessories.
