Another degreaser out on the market shows, above, the problems molders encounter with ineffective degreasers:
The pooled degreaser was not able to remove the oils. Wiping away the pooled areas smears the oils back into the fine pores of the metal surface. This surface is not cleaned, and is not beneficial to molding. Pooled up degreaser and oils are going to penetrate back into slides, cams and ejector pins. Lubrication will break down. This will lead to bleeding, premature tool failure, oil droplets and oil marks. |
