Jack Panels and Accessories
Jack Panels are made from rugged, .090″ thick aluminum and allow for easy installation of multi-circuit thermocouple or RTD Quick Disconnect Jacks in your panel or housing.
Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) are temperature sensing devices consisting of a wire coil or deposited film of pure metal. The element’s resistance increases with temperature in a known and repeatable manner.

Thermistors and Specialty Sensors
Thermistors are resistive devices usually made of metal oxides formed into a bead and encapsulated in epoxy or glass. Thermistors are typically less expensive than a thermocouple or RTD but their useful temperature range is limited.
Thermocouple Wire and Cable
Tempco can supply many types and gauges of thermocoule wire and thermocouple extension wire including mineral insulated. Common sizes are stocked on 100 and 250 foot spools.
Thermocouples with a noble metal junction may be rated as high as 1700°C (3100°F). The inherent simplicity of thermocouples makes them resistant to shock and vibration. A fine-wire thermocouple junction takes up little space and has low mass, making it suitable for point sensing and fast response.
Thermowells and Protection Tubes
Standard and custom manufactured Thermowells and Protection Tubes provide a variety of ways to protect a temperature sensor from high velocity, high pressure, and corrosive and harsh environments.
